Our Story: The "Therapist's Dilemma"
Well-Thought was born from a simple, recurring observation. Our founder, a qualified and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with over 18 years of experience in the NHS and private practice, noticed the same pattern again and again.
Clients were brilliant at identifying their unhelpful, automatic thoughts. They could see the patterns and understand the pain they caused. But when it came to the most crucial step—finding a clear, evidence-based, and compassionate alternative to that old, familiar thought—they often felt unsure, what to do next and how to 'reframe' their thought habits from a different perspective.
That moment of hesitation is where Well-Thought lives.
It was designed to be a private, practical tool to bridge that exact gap. It acts as a patient, Socratic partner, helping you not just to see your thought, but to build the real-world skill of finding a new, more balanced perspective, right in the moment when you need it most. It is the tool our founder always wished their clients had between sessions.
